Waiting on Payment Provider for print shop, so some Website food for thought

So our new online print shop has gone slightly past when we had planned to roll it out but now, due to the payment provider which will be handling our online transactions, we’re having to wait a little longer. It’s so important to make sure people are both comfortable and confident when entering sensitive details into your site to make an online purchase. As website designers and developers, that’s one thing we try and instill in every single site we work with.

Despite our years of experience in both the print and web industries, nothing could have ever prepared us for the amount of effort that would go into building an online shop for a product range that has so many variables. Variables which the average shopper may not be interested in but to cater for our entire audience, we need to give freelance graphic designers and others in the print industry, the opportunity take full advantage of both out full colour printing and spot colour printing shop options.

As well as the various methods of print and specialist print finishing, we will also be able to speak to a much wider audience through our shop. For example there will be such things as canvas prints available. From one off’s to many multiples, our new online print shop should make it easy for anyone to buy. It’s clear from recent conversations we have had with both existing clients and potential new clients, that most people seriously underestimate what goes into creating an online shop that works. This is your business, online. It’s incredible how some people do not value this and are so quick to want to dismiss your suggestions based on price alone. E-commerce or not, every website we build has one key objective – Return on Investment. It doesn’t matter what industry you are in these days, most people will base your company solely by what they see online. Not only that, a hard to navigate, poorly built site will do wonders in alienating your current customers too. If you value your business then you have to value your website past the price tag. We do offer to host your site free of charge for the first year as standard but again there is no obligation if you have your own arrangement elsewhere. Thoughts of the week

After a very busy week, next week will see the arrival of our CMS Website promotion, followed by the launch of our new online print shop in March. Times are changing rapidly and Acehigh are constantly evolving too.

We are still working hard on our new online print shop and hope to launch in the next few weeks. Our new online print ordering system will allow customers anywhere in the country to stop by, select a product, upload their design and receive the printed product via courier just a few days later. Online Print Ordering

Online print ordering. Print e commerce solution – coming soon!

Later this year, Acehigh will be implementing a comprehensive online print ordering system. Although our traditional print values remain, the way in which we handle orders and service customers will be changing. This new system will allow customers to upload artwork, make a payment online and receive their print, delivered to their door just a few days later.

Our new online shop will also allow for a much wider range of business stationery and other print products such as; premium business cards, high quality 4 colour printing, leaflet and flyer printing, comp slips, letterhead printing, NCR sets (duplicate and triplicate NCR pads or sets) and much much more. Other products which are not available right now but will be soon are; exhibition stands, display boards, canvas prints, perfect bound books, beer mats and magnets to name a few.
